Educational Leader, Retired Superintendent
As a retired Superintendent of Schools, I have experience with leadership, academic achievement, fostering the needs of the whole child, supporting administrators, teachers, and employees, and understanding the needs of the community. Serving as a Superintendent for fourteen years is one of my proudest accomplishments as an educator.
Consultant, Professional Speaker, Professional Mentor
As a consultant, I provide professional development for NJPSA (New Jersey Principals and Supervisors Association) and GOMO Educational Services. Workshop subjects cover nearly all current topics in education.
I also serve as a consultant with McPherson & Jacobson, an executive search firm that assists Boards of Education in finding their next Superintendent. It is EXCITING work!
As a professional mentor, I work primarily with women in education who are seeking their first administrative role. I assist women in navigating the labyrinth of hierarchy in schools with support, vigor, and committment.
Interim School Administrator
Since I retired from the Superintendent position, I have had the opportunity to serve an an Interim School Administrator. Whether working at the Central office level or the building level, this work fuels one of my greatest joys: experiencing school culture in a myriad of districts. These learning opportunities are an outstanding way to keep my finger on the pulse of education and to remain relevant in what is happening in our nation's schools.
